The gumball machine that hypnotises you
It keeps whether the trap is triggered, active or started, whether it triggers on a timer, and the rarity at which it activates.
One of R.E.P.O.'s trap valuables is a gumball machine: it has lids that open and close, an eye locked to a target with hypnosis lines, a light with its own curve, a spiral drawn over the screen, camera zoom and a value for how much aim it takes away.

In play
This one is a machine with a lid as well as a prize. It is a trap first: the game keeps whether the trap has been triggered, whether it is active, whether it has started, whether it works on a timer, and the rarity level it activates at.
Its face opens and shuts. There are meshes for the lids closed and the lids open, an eyeball mesh of its own and a globe, so the machine's head is built from parts rather than being one shape that switches texture.
The eye is aimed rather than fixed. It has a lock transform, a parent for the lines it draws and a line of its own, which is how the machine can put something out towards whoever it has noticed.
It knows which way it is facing. The machine keeps its own top, bottom, front and back along with a transform for the body, which is what lets the eye and the lids line up with the room.
It carries its own light, with a curve for how bright it is, and particles of its own, so the moment it wakes up is drawn rather than only played as a sound.
It does something to the player. There is a vignette, a spiral effect drawn over the screen, a speed for the camera zooming in and out and an amount for it to zoom, plus a value for how much of your aim is taken away.
It also shakes the camera, with a length, a strength and bounds of its own, so the machine can be felt at the moment it acts.
It sounds like a machine waking up. There are sounds for its eyes opening and closing and a hypnosis loop while it holds you.
It knows whether it is the copy that matters locally, and monsters can be set to come and investigate it.
What this entry does not tell you: how long the hypnosis lasts, how much aim is taken away, or what the machine is worth. We have not verified those numbers, so we do not print them.
