Getting what you need from the between-run shop
How the shop between runs in R.E.P.O. decides what it offers, so money goes on what the run needs rather than on what happens to be on the shelf.

Before you start
- Between-run money to spend
- A crew that agrees on what is missing
- Enough runs to know what you keep losing
Steps
- Know the shop aims for an amount of stock rather than stocking by accident.
it aims for a number of items, with separate amounts for consumables, upgrades and health packs - Check what kinds of thing it can offer at all.
its offerings are split into ordinary items, consumables, upgrades and health packs - Look for secret stock, which is kept separately.
the shop keeps separate volumes and items for secret stock - Read the prices the game gives you.
shop costs are shown by the game rather than inferred - Buy upgrades at their stand, where their information is.
upgrades are bought at a stand and carry their own information - Get cosmetics from the machine rather than from the shelves.
cosmetics come from a separate machine - Expect the shop to track what you have bought.
the shop holds the volumes it can use and the items it may offer, and an item manager keeps what has been purchased
Common mistakes
- Spending on consumables when the crew keeps dying rather than running out of things.
- Ignoring the upgrade stand and buying loose items instead.
- Assuming a shelf holds everything the shop can sell.
- Forgetting that the shop's stock is aimed at amounts rather than guaranteed.
