The valuables that go off by themselves

The trap valuables in R.E.P.O. as one family: a boombox, a cartoon television, an egg and a baby's head share the same trap state and announce themselves in four different ways.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Treat the set that plays music, the cartoon television, the egg and the baby's head as one family rather than four odd finds.
they share the same trap state of triggered, active and started, the same switch for triggering on a timer and the same rarity level at which they go off
  2. Listen before you lift, because one of them announces itself with sound.
the boombox has sounds for starting, stopping and playing music, and a glitch sound of its own
  3. Watch a television's screen instead of standing in front of it.
the television has static with a curve, a time, a timer and an outro, and a screen, a background and a light of its own
  4. Read the cartoon as two performers rather than one animation.
the cat and the mouse are objects of their own, each with a talking time, a pause, a count, a starting and an ending scale and sounds of their own
  5. Do not trust an egg to stay an egg.
it has a length of time before it goes off and a rest after cracking, and it grows arms and legs with a range each
  6. Watch the head's eyes, because awake and asleep are two positions rather than two looks.
being awake and asleep are two eyelid rotations with a head angle and a speed to move between them, and each takes its own time
  7. Expect any of them to bring a monster to the noise.
all of them can be made a thing monsters investigate
  8. Put one down before the extractor rather than carrying it all the way.
the egg shakes the camera when it goes, with a length, a strength and bounds of its own
