The player list and what a row shows
Each listed player has a name and a head of their own.
Before a R.E.P.O. run starts the crew is a list: the game gives each listed player a name, a head of their own and a ping figure, and can put a crown on one side of a row and a second crown on the other.
What the game establishes

- A crown can be forced onto a row rather than only chosen. (checked against the game's own files)

- A row has hover and animation states of its own. (checked against the game's own files)
In play
Every listed player is a row of its own. The game keeps the name it shows and the head it draws for that player, so the list is built from per-player information rather than from one string of text.
The row carries a connection figure as text. There is a ping readout beside the name, which is how the list can show how well each player is connected rather than only that they are there.
A row can be crowned. There is a crown on the left of the row and another on the right, so a player can be marked on either side rather than only with one badge.
A crown can also be forced. The game has a way to put a crown on a row rather than only letting it be chosen, which is how the list can show something the players did not pick themselves.
A name can be drawn bright, which is why one row can stand out from the rest without the row being a different row.
Each row also has hover and animation states of its own, so the list is a set of interfaces rather than a block of text that appears at once.
What this entry does not tell you: what a crown means, who decides it, or what the ping figure counts. We have not verified those points, so we do not print them.
